Who will have the biggest point improvement in 06-07?
Who do you think will have the biggest point improvement this season?
These are my predictions:
Marian Gaborik - All he has to do is stay healthy (he had one of the highest goal per game averages last year), and playing with Demitra doesn't hurt
Jarome Iginla - Tanguay should provide the spark he needs to resume elite status
Mark Bell - On the Sharks first line with Thornton and Cheechoo, all he has to do is show up

I defininetly have to agree with you on Gaborik - if he can stay healthy, he can definitely do some damage. You're totally right about him playing with Demitra - I think they will both put up some big point totals since they more than likely feel comfortable on a line together.

Good call with Mark Bell if he can stick on that line. I think another ex-Hawk Kyle Calder will have a great season. He was always up against the top defensive line last year in Chicago, this year he will be on a really good second that will get much less attention than the Gagne, Forsberg, Knuble line.

Dustin Penner is going to turn heads this year. He didn't play a whole lot last year with the big club but with a full season under his belt, he's a good candidate for The Calder Trophy.

Mark Bell - On the Sharks first line with Thornton and Cheechoo, all he has to do is show up
You said it, all he has to do is show up.
Though with the performance from last year, you can bet Joe will be leaning to his right more than to the Bell-side.
But then again, Id rather be on the unfavorable side of any Sharks center than the favorable side of any 'Hawks player.
So yes, Mark Bell... show up. Take this one all the way to the bank and make Joe crane his neck.

I think Alexei Yashin will improve the most from last year. He had a really disappointing year last year with only 28 goals, 38,assists for 66 points. He has already got 19 points this season.
