Don't be surprised when the Flames decide to dump their bit-players in the summer in exchange for younger models.

As discussed in Monday's Calgary Sun, free agents Tony Amonte, Darren McCarty, Marcus Nilson, Jeff Friesen, Byron Ritchie, Jamie McLennan and Brent Krahn are likely done in Calgary.

Darryl Sutter will try hard to extend Wayne Primeau's stay and even harder to keep Roman Hamrlik. One will sign, one won't.

The free agent the Flames most hope to keep, Brad Stuart, will be too expensive, prompting Sutter to look elsewhere to grab a free-agent d-man.

Right or wrong, Matthew Lombardi will be traded.

The Flames..... Well lets say, I hope they lose everyone Smile lol jk

But.... With saying the Hamrilik might not be staying...Well i think he will and Premeiu wont because Phaneuf would be nothing without Hamrilik. The showed this thing once on how Phanuef did with and without Hamrilik and the results were surprising... I think it was about 5 games played.. -7, 1 points... Then the next 5 games with Hamrilik in the lineup was like +8, 6 points or around that...


And Will the Flames try to save Cap- Room to try and keep Kippersoff and Iginla, Who are both free-agents at the end of the season next year, They are both skilled players and will both want some big money..

Is Lombardi really gone? I thought he played well for the Flames this year. Trading him seems surprising.
