Derek Boogard, a 6-foot-7 brawler and enforcer, re-signed with the Wild, while right wing Branko Radivojevic joined the team from the Philadelphia Flyers. Boogard had two goals and six points in his rookie season and a team-high 158 penalty minutes in 65 games. Radivojevic had eight goals and 14 points in 64 games with the Flyers.
