This is the first time I've seen Deroit play this season and I have only seen 1 period but they look terrible. There is no co-ordination between the players. It looks like the Oilers have been on a powerplay the whole period. It is the first game I've seen the Oilers play as well so it could also be that they are playing a lot better than I expected. The score is 1-0 for Edmonton right now but the Oilers should have 3 or 4 more goals. Anyway this game is very surprising to me.

The Oilers kept up the pressure in the third. The wings couldn't complete a pass and Hasek let in two straight break away goals. Looks like the wings are missing yzerman and shanahan.

I thought is was strange that I think Florida is playing better than them.

I mean the Wings have always been my favorite growing up in Michigan. I have in the last year or so began to follow the Cats more. Maybe my timing was right... HA!

I hope the Cats can make the playoffs this year. I have never been to a playoff game.

when detroit played san jose the other night, marty mcsorley said that he talked to several players before the game and he sensed that the wings have quit on babcock. mcsorley didnt name any names so its hard to say if this is true or not. im not a big fan of the guy because of the brashear incident, and it isnt very professional for color analysts to speculate like this, but who knows. if detroit continues to struggle, there may be some truth to this, and babcock could be out of a job.
