Wings want to sign Bertuzzi
The Wings wants to sign Bertuzzi, but can't pay him a lot due to salary cap, and the need for players in other positions. Not sure Bertuzzi wants to accept a salary less than what he deserves. I don't see him staying.
Regarding the Dominator, he's a great player, and he actually inspires me, Few players at his age can dominate as he is doing in front of the net.

The Detroit Red Wings are hoping they can lock up power forward Todd Bertuzzi before the start of free agency.
Wings GM Ken Holland spoke to 1130 WDFN The Fan yesterday and confirmed that he would like to ink Bertuzzi to a new contract.
"We would like to sign Todd," said Holland, who confirmed the team has about $11 million to $13 million in available cap.
"He could sign a one-year contract and he could do bonuses. Or, he could do a little bit of term, but then the salary goes down."
Bertuzzi made $5.269 million last season and could make a base salary in the area of $3 million in 2007-08. If he is looking for a higher annual salary, however, he might price himself out of the Wings' budget.
Meanwhile, Holland also acknowledged that the team is close to signing goalie Dominik Hasek to a new contract.
"I'm confident we're going to get Dom signed to a contract," Holland said. "It's not finalized yet, we're working on a couple little issues."
Holland will speak with Hasek's agent, Ritch Winter, today.
