Hi QNHLers,

I have some nice banners and buttons for qnhl.com that I will put on a page, so you can use them to link back to qnhl.com from other forums or websites.

Before putting up this page, I would like to see if any of you did some banner or buttons of qnhl.com and would like to add them on that page. I know that Oster or Blared made some nice ones...

By linking back from different places, we can attract more people to our forums.

Let me know if you have something or plan on donig something. I am planning to make this banner/buttons page during this week.

When I used to have a site, I had a top 100 list on my site. That is a good way to get links put on other sites back to you. You could have the QNHL Top 100 Hockey Sites.

I am sure you could find a free PHP script to do that. Our if you wanted write your own.

Good idea Wingsfan. But how can you guarantee that the sites will link back to you?

Another good idea to spend some time looking in the official forums of every NHL teams, or at least the big teams, and try to make qnhl.com known there. I think these are where the die hard fans are. This step should be parallel to opening section for every team...

If the site doesn't put your button or banner on their site then they don't get ranked.  The scripts usually rank by unique page views and hits back.  You should check it out.

Beautiful banner Oster, I would really like to use them ... too bad I don't have a website

I will make a page soon where I put all the banners that have been made for qnhl.com. It will show how to put them in forums or personal websites.

I have lots of ideas, little time, but i will try to finish it during the weekend or early next week hopefully.
