everyones opinion wanted please
Just trying to decide on this one, Ive never quit in a pool yet in my life but I am seriously thinking about doing it in a pol that im in (not the QNHL one lol)the Commish is really getting under my skin here, first off he changed the Waivers at the begining of the season so he could have #1 pick, needless to say I caled him out on it, then he gets these friends of his to be GM's in the pool and there never online so theres no way anyone can do trade talks or anything with them, he sees them everyoneday and therefore can talk trades and there newbies so he rips them off majorly, also just recently he changed goalie starts per week it was at 8 which I think is high and he switched it to 4 which I think is low I mentioned 6 is good but he wont even speak on the matter....and also he has a couple roster spots that he is rotating players which is the cheapest way he can win, he Dropped Kopitar Yesterday then changed his waiver date and picked him up again after 12 am hit this morning so no one else had a chance to get him. I unno I am reallyin debating on quitting the pool and in the process ill make sure he loses becasue I will trade my players to other teams just to make him lose, sorry bout me rambling just had to vent a little here and see what other people think about my situation

RE: everyones opinion wanted please
Something similar to this happened to me last season. I joined a league that was soposed to be a private league with other boards members from another hockey forum but for some reason the commish made it public and it kind of took the fun out of it for me and my friend who were expecting it to be a private league between friends. Well, me and the commish had a falling out and rather than act like a sane rational adult, he decides hes going to lock me and my friend out of the league, and drop all of our best players he can (pretty much dropped everyone not on the DND list) and take whoever of them he wanted and left the rest to free agency. It was a pretty lame move on his part but he shot himself in the foot with it because every semi-respectible person who posted at those forums left and now it's a ghostown. Funny thing was, even after he dropped my best players, I still ended up winning a few times against other members.

DO what you want. At least, I would first, talk to the commish to explain my point of view. If he just makes nothing and continue to act like that, do what you think that is the best. I know that you're at least in 2-3 other leagues. So, you're sure to have so fun this seaosn. YOu really should talk to him!

I agree with Julien - try to work it out with the commissioner, explain your situation and if that doesn't help and he doesn't act like an adult, just leave and don't say anything about it. Don't even bring up the fact that you're going to leave if it doesn't get resolved - he'll find out eventually.

RE: everyones opinion wanted please
Whose team do ya'll think is better mine is:
Eric Staal
Patrice Bergereon
Eric Cole
Sergei Samsonov
Brian Gionta
MArek Svatos
Scott Gomez
Dany Heatley
Ales Hemsky
Nils Ekman
Meszaros
Bouwmeester
Salo
Ward
Lundqvist
Fleury
Corvo(IR)
His is:
Demitra
S.Koivu
Kovalchuk
Shanahan
JAgr
Ryder
Lidstrom
S.Niedermayer
Schnieder
Gonchar
Alfredsson
Marleau
Elias
Kiprusoff
Brodeur
Fernandez
Needless to say he took advantage of a few people to Get Kiprusoff and Brodeur and there was a few other lopsided trades and Brad Richards (who he picked up off FA because he changed his Waiver Priority to #1)
