will the latest suspension restrain the players from this type of actions and if not then why even suspend him

I think you are always going to get people who just lose control and do something stupid. I don't think Simon was thinking about how many games he will get suspended for when this happened. This will make guys think for a minute if there is no chance for an immediate reaction. You have to penalize players even if it won't stop it from happening next time. You can't let a player get away with something like what Chris Simon did. I don't think 25 games was enough. Should have been 82 games.
