i think its no contest Nider and pronger probly 2 of the top 10 players in the nhl.

Yes. For a few year, I think that REdden/Chara was the best pair of D. But nOw it's Nidermayer/Pronger!!

Pronger - Niedermayer will be simply deadly this year, both get the job done at either end of the ice. Leafs D are only offensive, Montreal D mostly defensive, Detroit with a mix of the two.

Talent-wise, I think only the Visnovsky-Blake pairing can compete with Anaheim's duo.
