As long as I can remember I've only been able to access this site a very small portion of the time. I'd love to post and read here more often but I can't get the site to load more than 90% of the time and when I can it is very sluggish.

I just tried posting to this thread 5 minutes ago saying "hooray, I can get back on the site again" only for irony to strike leaving me with a page that wouldn't load. :-(

I don't know how the funding situation is, but you may want to consider changing/upgrading hosts.

If funding is an issue for this I'm sure there are many users who are willing to sponsor the site by donating in exchange for some extra user privileges.

All the content is here for a great site, but I can't check for new posts very often which ends up with me on a competing site when I'd rather be here. What can I say? I love an underdog. :-)

BTW, a little more feedback: Because the site always times out for me, every time I visit it resets my "new posts" so I rarely get to use this feature. I'm not sure how it works with this particular software, but on vbulletin you can set it so posts still show up in New Posts as "not new since you last visited, but still unread".

tkaine, i experienced a lot of problems trying to access the site, too. Unfortunately, I've still been experiencing this the past few days (including today). I think changing hosts might solve the problem, too.
