whats wrong with Montreal?

Dont get me wrong Montreal is a Great Hockey city but they have signed one free agent in seven days and i dont think anyone has ever even heard of him.

he wasint even a UFA he was a RFA they resigned him

I think they are trying to sign Shanahan. His agent said that two teams are still in talk with him. Detroit and some other team? I guess Gainey is trying to sign him. Montreal has lots of good young players, they tried to sign Elias, but his new contract is insanely long. You can't do that in Montreal.

They are trying to get Shanahan, but their's many team team that want him. But, I think that thier priority is to get Simon Gagné!!! HE can't sign with the Flyers!
