...unless you're the Washington Capitals.
For the Calder Cup, I'll say Houston Aeros take it next year.
And we saw how bad the capitals were. Just proves my point. One amazing player doesn't necessarily make a team good.

yeah but without Ovechkin, the caps would have sucked even more, and would have finished lower than the pens

But the point is they still sucked and we're talking about winning a championship, something the capitals sure were far off from doing. They didn't even make the playoffs.

Hey, there was nothing about the performance of the team originally mentioned . I don't know if Radulov has enough to carry a team as far as a championship at the AHL level, maybe he does.. maybe he doesn't. But Sidney Crosby in Rimouski nearly earned his team the Memorial Cup a year ago, and he was basically the talent that made that team play so well... but the AHL is a higher level of play so I agree with your point.
